Using the site
Reading the site needs no account.
Sending a request needs an account with a confirmed email address. Requests are free.
The site takes no payments.
What the site stores is on the Privacy page.
Who may post
Writing in the community needs a signed-in account with a published profile, because every post shows who wrote it.
Posts and replies are plain text, public, and appear at once. A post may be up to 500 characters and a reply up to 2,000. Each account may post a few times an hour, and fewer in its first day.
Any signed-in account may vote, once per item. Voting again changes the vote; voting the same way removes it.
Bounties on an app are posted by its developers and by admins, and bounties on a repository by admins. Any account with a published profile can claim one. A bounty pays no money: when one on an app is done, an admin credits whoever claimed it on the app's page.
House rules
- Write about software and the work of making it.
- No adverts, no giveaways, no bought links.
- Report anything that should not be here. An admin reads every report.
What gets hidden
Any post, reply, or bounty can be reported.
An admin can hide a post, reply, or bounty that breaks the house rules or should not be here, and its author is told why.
Questioning a decision
To question a hidden post, a listing, or anything about your account, send a request with the topic Something else. It reaches every admin.
